Negotiations for Lake County 911 Dispatchers Set to Begin
Updated On: Aug 24, 2015

August 24, 2015

Contract negotiations affecting nearly 100 recently organized Lake County Indiana Emergency Call Center dispatchers will begin tomorrow August 25, 2015.It is the intent of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 21 (IBEW 21) to reach a fair agreement with Lake County representatives.

The IBEW was founded on the principles of safety and understands that the Lake County Emergency Center Dispatchers work to protect the county’s citizens every day.The IBEW 21 bargaining team looks forward to working with Lake County to negotiate a contract on the wages, benefits and working conditions the dispatchers truly deserve.

During negotiations updates on bargaining will only be released when necessary. When information is available it will be posted on ibew21.org, the IBEW 21 hotline 630-415-2711 extension 3, and through email updates.

IBEW members are asked to support their bargaining team by wearing black and gold. Show them your support with your Solidarity!
