Apr 24, 2014 - Workers' Memorial Day Monday April 28th
May 07, 2015

Workers' Memorial Day is observed by the IBEW and the unions of the AFL-CIO every year on April 28th.  It is a day to honor those workers who died or were injured on the job, to acknowledge the grievous suffering experienced by families and communities. It is also a time to recommit ourselves to the fight for safe and healthy workplaces for all workers.

On Monday April 28, 2014, we ask all IBEW 21 members to observe a moment of silence before work to remember those who lives were lost and those who were injured as a result of workplace accidents. Honor their memory by renewing our commitment to work safely.

Remember no job is so important and no service is so urgent
we cannot take time to perform our work safely.
