IBEW 21 Supports Pizzas4Patriots
June 10, 2014
IBEW 21 member Mark Evans started Pizzas4Patriots in 2008 after his son asked him if U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq had pizza. When Mark told his son no, they cooked up a plan to send a taste of home to our military members overseas. They held fundraisers and were able to secure corporate sponsorships that enabled them to deliver over 2000 pizzas.
Little did they know that six years later they would still be at it. Their team has already delivered over 1 million slices to our soldiers serving overseas and to Veterans hospitals here at home.

You can help!
As part of our community outreach program, IBEW Local 21 supports Pizzas4Patriots. This year on July 4th Pizzas4Patriots will be shipping 10,000 pizzas to our service men and women defending our freedoms overseas. Mark and his partners would also like to hold a pizza party in at least one Veterans facility in each of our 50 states.

Save the Date!
This year on Veterans Day November 11th, Mark hopes to serve up pizzas at Veterans Hospitals in our area. We would like IBEW Local 21 members to volunteer their time to help him. If you would like to join him please email Recording Secretary Bob Przybylinski (email@example.com) or call him in the IBEW 21 union office at 630-960-4466 ext. 447.
Together IBEW 21 members can help military members and veterans in the areas where we live and work.
