Sep 11, 2014 - A Message from IBEW President Hill
Updated On: Jun 04, 2015

September 11, 2014

A special message from IBEW International President Ed Hill…

Watch President Hill’s message now by clicking here.

IBEW 21 members have strength in numbers. We must use our strength to win good pay, retirement security, safe work environments, industry regulations, public sector bargaining rights, quality education for our children and much more.

By mobilizing through our voter registration drive and get-out-the-vote effort, IBEW 21 members can elect candidates who support and will enact a working families’ agenda so we all can move forward together. Union Families should register to vote, volunteer to help the friends of Labor and then get out to vote on Election Day.

Are You registered to vote?

In Illinois the last day to register to vote is October 7, 2014. You can also register during grace period registration from October 8 – November 1, 2014. During Grace period registration you will register and then immediately cast your ballot.

Illinois Online Voter Registration- In Illinois you can register to vote online.  Information about online voter registration can be found here.  You can register online now by clicking here.

Illinois Voter Registration Applications can be found by clicking here.  Mail or deliver the application to your County Clerk or Illinois Board of Election Commissioners no later than 28 days before the next election.

If you live in Indiana the last day to register to vote is October 6, 2014.

Indiana Online Voter Registration- Indiana residents with a valid Indiana driver’s license or Indiana state-issued identification card can submit a new voter registration application or update an existing voter registration record online. Information about Indiana online voter registration can be found here.  You can register online now by clicking here.

If you are not registered to vote please register today. We do make a difference.  After all of the campaign rhetoric we must elect the candidates who best serve the interests of working people.  We must not let wedge issues divide us. To learn more about the elections please visit our COPE page by clicking here.

If you would like more information, have any questions, or would like to volunteer to help elect candidates who support working families please contact:
