Early Voting Reminder

October 23, 2014

Early Voting in Illinois

It is getting down to crunch time and we need every IBEW 21 member to do their part by voting and volunteering to help elect the candidates that will support members of IBEW Local 21. For more information on early voting and registration please click here

We will be making phone calls from our Union Hall to other IBEW 21 members reminding them to vote and if they haven’t registered to vote they still can register and vote for candidates who support union members. If you can help make some calls please contact IBEW 21 Political Education Director Dennis McCafferty at 630-960-4466 ext. 353 or email him dmac@ibew21.org.

Some may think this election will not affect our membership because our members work for private employers. That is not true, we have hundreds of members who work in the public sector and are employed at the City of Chicago OEMC 911 Center, and who work for Vermilion and Peoria counties. They need the help of all IBEW 21 members to protect their bargaining rights.

We must stand in solidarity - there is no other option.
