Nov 21, 2014 - Volunteer to Help the Kids at Mercy Home!
Updated On: Jun 04, 2015

November 21, 2014

We’ve reached the halfway point in our IBEW 21 Days of Giving “Toy and Coat Drive” and we would like to thank our members who have already donated.  Please continue to work with your stewards, Chief Stewards and Business Representatives to help make the drive in your work location successful. A list of needed gifts can be found here.

IBEW 21 Volunteers Needed

Mercy Home for Boys & Girls in Chicago needs IBEW 21 volunteers at 2 of their holiday events.

We will be joining them as they welcome back their “alumni” during their Aftercare Christmas party on Thursday, December 11th from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. They need us to fill a number of roles such as setting up, guest check-in, assisting with kid’s activities, the toy table and helping Santa.

Their second event is their Friends First Holiday Party on Saturday, December 13th from 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Every year Mercy Home brings together mentors and their mentees to celebrate the holiday season.

If you would like to volunteer for either event or if you have any questions please email or call Bob P, Jacquie Fields or Dave Webster in the Union Hall 630-960-4466.

Let us know ASAP if you will be able to volunteer so Mercy Home can plan accordingly and begin to slot in volunteers where needed.

Please let others in your work locations know about the events and place these bulletin board postings on your Union boards.

Click the images below to print the postings.
