Rauner-Rahm - You

April 5, 2015

What are you doing for lunch tomorrow?

If you are free please join Illinois union activists at tomorrow’s Chicago City Council meeting.  While you are there you can hear Illinois government boss Bruce Rauner’s special address to the City Council where he will talk about his plans to screw the hard working people of the middle class.

Wear your union gear.  The Chicago Federation of Labor is finalizing details on a press conference outside the Chambers, but for now they planning to meet at City Hall at 11:30 a.m. and will hold a press conference in response to the Governor’s remarks.

If you can’t get there for lunch if you live in these areas you can make your voice heard at the dates and times listed:

  • Kane County Board Executive Committee, Wednesday, May 6th, 9 a.m., County Board Room, 719 S Batavia Ave, Geneva. Bldg. A
  • Village of Cambridge (Henry County), Monday, May 11, 6 p.m., Committee of the Whole, Village Administrative Offices located at 124 West Exchange Street
  • Iroquois County Board, Tuesday, May 12, 9 a.m., 1001 East Grant Street, Watseka

Great Job Brothers!
