Feb 06, 2013 - Take the Survey and Wear Your Pin
Posted On: Feb 02, 2013

Did You Take The Survey?

We all know 2013 is going to be an important year for members of our Local. It will take the solidarity of all us to be successful. We have to get back to the basics.  Part of the basics is doing your part when asked.

Recently, IBEW Local 21 posted the 2013 Bargaining and Communications Survey on ibew21.org for our active members to complete. Many of the questions are designed for AT&T members but we encourage all members to fill out the communications portion of the survey so we have your information on file when it is time for your negotiations to begin.

Make your voice heard take the survey now by clicking here:

If you need detailed survey instructions click here.

Are You Wearing Your Union Pin?

Your Chief Stewards and Business Representatives have distributed or are still delivering your 2013 pins. One of the simplest ways to show your solidarity is by exercising one of your basic rights which is wearing your union pin. Our Local doesn’t pass out unions pins so they can sit in a desk drawer or in your work truck.

Let’s take the first step in showing our bosses we are united by wearing our union pins. The National Labor Relations Board ruled that as union members we have the right to wear union pins. It’s a Protected Concerted Activity.

If you have your pin on and see a coworker who isn’t wearing a one encourage them to wear theirs.

Solidarity!
