Jun 02, 2015 - National Fast Track Call-In Day 6-3
Updated On: Jun 04, 2015

June 3, 2015

IBEW International President Lonnie Stephenson is asking all IBEW members to make a call to help stop the Fast Tracking of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement. If the agreement is passed using Fast Track no portion of the TPP could be amended.

June 3rd is National Fast Track Call-In Day.  We are asking you to call 1-855-712-8441 and tell your Representative to oppose Fast Track.  Inform them trade policies adopted under Fast Track have cost us more than 1 million jobs and contributed to the shuttering of more than 60,000 factories. They need to vote no on Fast Track because the current legislation doesn't include negotiating objectives on job creation, reducing the trade deficit or protecting “Buy American” policies.

Opposition to the bill is growing but to keep good union jobs in America we need your help.  Please call 1-855-712-8441 and make your voice heard.

More information on Fast Track can be found here.

Below is a flier you can distribute in your work location as well as a letter from President Stephenson asking for your assistance.
